Fall Festivals and Fun
Fall is here and and that means that it’s time to trade in the flip flops and shorts for cozy sweaters and scarves. The change of season brings us crisp air, everything pumpkin, apple picking, changing leaves, football, soups and stews and fires in the fireplace.
Our area offers many fun festivals, activities and events to celebrate fall. Here are a few of our favorites.
Peddler’s Village has a lot to offer this season, starting with their famous Scarecrow Competition and Display that runs from now through October. The Apple Festival in early November closes out the fall fun, and the village almost immediately is transformed into a Christmas Spectacular starting November 13 with the Grand Illumination taking place on November 20.
Apple picking at Solebury Orchards, available Thursday through Sunday until November 15. Don’t forget to pick up an apple cider donut while there!
None Such Farm in Buckingham, PA hosts a family friendly pumpkin festival complete with hay rides, pumpkin picking, corn mazes, a petting zoo, musical entertainment and fall foods. The festival is open weekends in October.
You will find something new to do every weekend at The Market at DelVal in Doylestown. Apple picking, pumpkin festivals, hay rides, moonlit mazes and scarecrows are just a few of the offerings.
