We love our little corner of Pennsylvania, but we especially love it during the holidays.

If you are looking for something fun to do in the area with family and friends over the holidays, here are some of our favorite happenings –

If you want to see lights, you have to visit Shady Brook Farms in Yardley, PA. The Holiday Light Show runs until January 8, 2017.

If you have little ones, you won’t want to miss this one! The New Hope-Ivyland Railroad runs a North Pole Express through December 31. Join Santa and Mrs. Claus for cocoa, cookies, and a journey through beautiful Bucks County.

Peddler’s Village is a must-see location for Christmas lights. Stroll the village, do some shopping, and grab a bite to eat and one of their restaurants. And don’t forget to take a look at their Gingerbread House Display!

There will be a Hanukkah Songfest in Doylestown on Wednesday, December 21 starting at 6:30 PM. Click here for details.

Our quaint town of Doylestown is home to a few museums. The Mercer Museum is hosting an exhibit through January 3 called Under the Tree: A Century of Holiday Trees and Toys.  The Fonthill Castle will be decked out for the holidays through January 2, and on December 30 they will offer a candlelight holiday tour.

If you are looking for something different to do with the family on Christmas Day, go back in history and witness Washington and his troops cross the Delaware River. The re-enactment takes place at Washington Crossing State Park from 12 PM – 3 PM on December 25th, with the crossing starting at 1 PM.

If the little ones are getting restless over the holiday break, visit Sesame Place for their Very Furry Christmas on select dates through January 1.

We would love to hear from you about your favorite things to do in the area over the holidays!!

Happy Holidays!
